Independence, a fact or a feeling?

Indonesian Republic have got its independence for 63 years, but have the purposes of Indonesian country completely achieve the results? We have 200 milions people in our land, but only the 2% of them who get the opportunity to take a study in bachelor degree. Most of our civilians live in poor condition. It’s too contrast with the celebration of our independence day. The real thing we should realize is the reason why the Indonesian Republic must be exist? A country is built to reach what its people want and obviusly each people always wants a prosperity, not a poverty. So that our country success as its plan when it established? Sign with the proclamation read by Mr. Soekarno at August 17th 1945?
Almost 300 years we live under the authority of Nederland and 3,5 years of Japan. By the times going, we fell in a happiness that we have our own authority to govern our new country but according to the fact of our failure in recent years we still don’t have anything to be proud. Based on Machiavelli’s theory, a power can be built by two ways. First is force which come from coercion, it’s a traditional type like a period in the past. Nowadays, the second one, consent, a power that lead the subordinate people under its intellectual power is more dangerous. In Gramsci thinking it’s often called “hegemony”. When a hegemony practices in a perfect way, the power of coercion isn’t necessary again. Lets we see our condition in many sectors of our daily life as the Indonesian mankinds and civilians!
In our education we still adapt the system and the material from western. It isn’t a mistake if we can manage them to repair our condition , not to make it worst. The evidence is in the subject of economy, for instance, our colleges student learn about liberal economy system much rather than social economy system and the different is too significant. It will make a new question “is the graduate bachelor of economy major in Indonesia, unfortunately, is being prepared to defend the capitalism in Indonesia itself? As we know that one of the main causes of the economic failure in Indonesia is capitalism.
In our culture, especially in our woman fashion. It adjust the fashion mode of western which recognize the right of nudism. In the other hand, most of the woman in Indonesia who use that clothes never realize about this fact. The supremacy of the hegemony of western has interperate in the legitimation of our business market successfully. The sample is the existence of “sales promotion girl” to attract the customer with her minimize wear. It prove a great adoption of western culture in fashion that have been a part of our woman’s mind that threat our own values and culture.
The other example is in our national politic. In our government policies and laws, there are many mistakes that sorrow our people and give advantages only to a few people and the terrible is that they are not Indonesians. Many foreign companies have destroyed our nature for their profit itself, but our government only watching without do anything because they have got a payment to do this. Moreover, our people just receive this common secret as an ordinary thing. Most of this nation believe that thay deserve to be the subordinate side below the western superiority. The hegemony of western closely practices in a perfect way in Indonesia. 
Thus, can you say that we, Indonesian people, have won our independence in this place and time? Or we still have to do much for the accomplishments of the country? The accomplishments that become the dream of each person in coconut island.
